Shipping Policy
We do everything we can to ensure your products are picked and packed promptly and shipped quickly. We cannot foresee challenges in the courier network and if you have any issues, please contact us at info@glutenfreeme.co.nz and we will do our best to help you with lost or damaged product.
Important information about perishable items
- We utilise the standard courier network system and therefore cannot guarantee the condition of perishable goods such as chilled or frozen items.
- We take every care to package product to remain chilled through the journey, however this is at the purchaser’s risk.
- Items shipped frozen will not remain frozen and should not be refrozen when received.
- Parcels in transit are not stored in chilled depot locations or vehicles
- We utilise a range of new and recycled materials including ice packs and special bags to ship chilled and frozen goods and do our best to ensure they arrive in good shape.
Shipping process
- Shipping days are limited to normal business days, Monday through Friday and exclude public holidays.
- Orders received prior to 12pm on a weekday will be shipped that day
- Orders received after 12pm will be shipped the following day
- Once shipped, you will receive an email notification with your tracking details to monitor your parcel
- Generally orders are received within 1-3 working days, or slightly longer for rural delivery addresses
Bread
- Fresh bread is shipped on Wednesday to time with supplier deliveries and ensure product does not sit in courier depots across a weekend
- Our fresh bread sells out quickly, so it is possible your order may be delayed while we wait for new stock which only comes once per week
- Where we are out of stock we will be in touch to keep you informed
Stock outs
Our website does its best to stay attached to live stock levels however things can go astray. If an item you have ordered is not currently in stock, one of our team will be in touch to work out the best course of action:
- Wait for it to come into stock
- Accept a replacement item
- Receive a credit for the item

- We currently use Courier Post for our national deliveries
- Our pricing is directly attached to their price structure
- We do not add any mark up to shipping charges
